CORPORATE HMI DESIGN
OMI | OMAS MULTIDEVICE INTERFACE
OMAS S.r.l.
2024
OMAS s.r.l., an Italian company specialized in manufacturing of advanced machinery for grain milling and cleaning, required a unified Human-Machine Interface (HMI) strategy across its machine portfolio.
The project involved the analysis of four main machine models: Leonardo, Giotto, Dante, and Galileo with the objective of creating a consistent and scalable user experience across different devices and operational contexts.
SOLUTION
AGD LAB, as a specialist in Industrial UI/UX and HMI Design, defined a unified interaction framework based on a detailed analysis of machine workflows and operator needs.

OBJECTIVES
Create a common HMI interface applicable to all machine models
Ensure usability across multiple devices: Panel PC, Tablet, and Mobile
Improve operator efficiency through clear and intuitive interaction design
Enable data personalization and flexible visualization for different user roles

DEVELOPMENT
The entire project was designed and developed using mappView within B&R Automation Studio, ensuring full integration with the automation environment and optimal performance in industrial conditions.
The solution included the creation of a scalable design system and interface architecture adaptable to different machines and devices, ensuring consistency, usability, and future extensibility.
