HMI Design
Extrusion Blow Molding Machine HMI Design Plastiblow S.r.l.
2025
Design and development of a new operator interface for Plastiblow’s extrusion blow molding machine portfolio, supporting a new generation of machines characterized by high performance, reduced energy consumption, and ease of use.
The project placed the operator at the center of the experience, creating a flexible and configurable HMI capable of adapting to different machine models and production configurations.
CONTEXT
Plastiblow embarked on an innovation journey to modernize both the design of its machines and the experience provided to operators.
The goal was to develop a new HMI capable of simplifying daily operations, adapting to different machine configurations, and enhancing the technological strengths that distinguish Plastiblow solutions.

OBJECTIVES
Redefine the operator experience through usability-driven UI/UX Design and HMI Design.
Create a modular and configurable interface adaptable to different machine architectures.
Deliver a consistent and intuitive user experience through adaptive and customizable navigation.
Develop a scalable, maintainable, and future-ready mappView solution.

DEVELOPMENT AND SOLUTION
AGD LAB designed a new operator experience based on a detailed analysis of the different machine configurations and related operational workflows.
The interface was developed to dynamically adapt to the characteristics of each Plastiblow machine model, ensuring a consistent user experience regardless of the installed configuration.
